For those of you not familiar with Army-speak, Daddy is the sponsor of our little circus. He's the one that matters for most things Army-related. (There's no way to count the number of times I've had to answer the question "Last four of the sponsor's social?" I think I know his social security number better than I know my own!) Anyway, we thought we'd let Daddy deliver this little update.
We are pleased to announce that, come April, Indiana Jones Golby will be joining our family!
(If you weren't entirely clear, we're expecting a boy! And we won't name him Indiana. At least I hope not.)

Wow!! A boy!! I've been waiting to hear. Our Lil' Buddy is excited he'll have a friend! Is Bruce Wayne Golby still a name option?
Oh yay! How exciting, a little boy. You give me hope that maybe our #3 (whenever that happens) will be a girl.
And how about Bruce Indiana Golby? It's like the best of both worlds (Indiana Jones and Bruce Wayne worlds anyways). Wouldn't that just be sweet? Kathleen, Madeline, and Bruce Golby. I can see the Christmas card now. :)
Woohoo! A boy! Welcome Indiana Jones Golby!
Congratulations! One of my first memories of Jim...I think from our first Thanksgiving in Germany, was him discussing the planned boys names. Wasn't Peter Parker one too? Peter Golby's not so bad.
What do his big sisters think of the news?

Yeah! I was just wondering when you were going to find out! I too was remembering all of Jim's crazy boy names. Does he still plan on having enough boys for a basketball team?

Of course we are going to have a basketball team (Indiana, Flash, Luke, Bruce, and James Peter). Kristen just hasn't decided to cooperate yet. I mean, she has been a trooper through the first 2.5 pregnancies, but she just doesn't believe hard enough when I assure her that she is carrying twins. Just give me a few more tries...she'll come around eventually. -Jim

First, Congratulations on the baby boy! How exciting!
Second, I LOVE the blog title. And when I was doing my clearing papers at work yesterday I seriously had to pause when I had to give my own social.
When I first mentioned to Brian that you were pregnant he said, "Oh! Indiana Jones Golby!" See? We all remember those conversations with all of Jim's baby names. Well, we're glad to hear you have a little boy on the way...even if his name doesn't end up being Indiana Jones.
Congratulations! Now he'll just need a brother so that he has someone to team up with against his older sisters!
Congratulations!! I got a little teary looking at the ultrasound image. :) And I second Jen's comment - boys are lots of fun!
